Said to be one of the finest examples of early Georgian architecture, Llanelly House is a “Welsh Georgian Gem” - the heartbeat of Llanelli town centre. A magnificent restoration programme completed in 2013 has created a wonderful salute to its past while reimagining the interior as a unique Bistro, Event Space and Wedding Venue.
Within these historic walls, glimpse the rich history and scandalous secrets of Llanelli in the 18th and 19th Centuries on the House Tour.

Dear Customers & Visitors to Llanelly House, we are delighted to announce our GUIDED TOURS are back
Advance booking is essential with limited spaces with Covid safe procedures in place.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11am.
(Please note we are closed on Bank Holiday Mondays)
Duration approx. 75 mins. This is a walking tour with uneven floors and steep stairs.

Find out about the past residents of the house and how they shaped the town and the industrial landscape of South Wales. Step back in time to the 18th Century with Sir Thomas and Lady Stepney. See them come to life and experience how the Georgians lived. Then move on to Victorian times and witness the scandalous ‘upstairs downstairs’ tales that haunt the House today.
