Fancy getting hitched on August 18?

There’s a special opportunity to get married in true Georgian splendour in Llanelli this summer.

The wedding team at Plas Llanelly House has a date ringed on the calendar for one happy couple.

The Registrar has been booked, the menus have been arranged . . .

In short, all the hard work has been taken out of the equation.

And the Plas Llanelly House wedding planners have come up with a special value deal for one lucky couple.

“We’ve done all the hard work of organising the wedding – even fixing the date and time for 1pm on Friday, August 18,” said Plas Llanelly House trustee Alison Evans.

“All we need now is for one happy couple the say the magic word, ‘Yes’.

“Planning a wedding can be an exhausting and traumatic process, but we’ve taken all the heat out of it by fixing the day and doing all the menu planning.

“In short, if you want to make your own history, so to speak, in the historical setting of Plas Llanelly House, then we have everything you need for your big day.

“We’ve fixed a special price of £2950 for a very special day for one very special couple.

“But the lucky couple will have to hurry as this offer only applies to Friday, August 18.”

The special deal includes –

  • Drinks on arrival
  • Wedding ceremony in either The Great Hall or The Tea Room.
  • The Plas Llanelly House ‘Silver’ Wedding Breakfast
  • An evening Finger Buffet for up to 70 people on the ground floor in The Great Hall and Best Parlour.

Trustee Mrs Evans said: “Plas Llanelly House has been registered as a venue for weddings and civil partnerships. It’s a new move on our part and we are looking forward to seeing people take advantage of a wonderful wedding setting. You can make your own history in our historic venue.

“Plas Llanelly House is a sympathetically-restored listed property, at the heart of the community here in Llanelli. It offers couples of all ages their very own ‘piece of historical magic’ and a unique setting to celebrate their special wedding day.

“The wedding planning team, together with our partners at the Carmarthenshire Registry Service, look forward to working with all couples to ensure all individual requirements are accommodated.

“Our August 18 offer is a real one-off and offers a great ‘discounted price’ wedding for one lucky couple.”

Interested couples should ring the Plas Llanelly House wedding team on 01554 772857.

The deadline for the August 18 offer is May 31.
